Biography
Yuxian(Yuki) Lin is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Communication Science unit, at the Media School. Her current research interests focus on understanding the cognitive, emotional, and social demands of interactive media technologies, especially AR/VR, video games, and human-computer interaction.
Yuki earned her M.S. in Public Relations, at the College of Communication, Boston University, and a dual B.A. degree from Hunan University, China & Colorado State University, with a concentration in Television and Film Copywriting and Editing. She has worked in Hill+Knowlton Strategies as a PR professional for high-tech companies before she came to the U.S. and started her Master’s studies.
