Sofia Mora Ballotta

Biography

Hi! My name is Sofia, and I am a junior from Cancun, Mexico. I am studying Media Advertising on the Strategic and Planning track, with minors in Marketing and Arts Management. On campus, I work at the IU Auditorium, serve as the Events Chair on the Logistics Committee for the IU Dance Marathon, and am also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. I am currently interning with a hospitality agency focused on live entertainment, where I help with marketing efforts, which has fueled my passion for the music industry. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in music marketing and brand strategy, combining my love for live events and creative communication. Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling, dancing, and trying new restaurants around Bloomington! Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the Media School or IU!
