Biography
Hello! My name is Evie Mendelsohn, I am a junior in the Cinematic Arts BFA program with a minor in business. I am also in the Media Scholars program.
I am the Vice President of the Student Cinema Guild, where I help facilitate a network of student filmmakers from across IU’s campus. I also attend as many sporting events as I can, and love to watch movies at the IU Cinema. In my free time I enjoy drawing, crocheting and swimming.
Over the summer, I interned at Burnt Elbow Entertainment as an assistant producer in London, where I organized industry contacts and provided feedback on pre-production materials. This internship was a part of the Summer in London program with the Media Scholars program. In this internship, I applied skills I learned in classes here at the Media School, gaining knowledge and experience I will carry with me into future internships and jobs.
