IDS, IUSTV win ACP, CMA, Pacemaker awards
Held in Washington, D.C., from Oct. 15-18, MediaFest25 is the nation’s largest media convention for professionals and college students and is sponsored by the Associated Collegiate Press, College Media Association, and Society of Professional Journalists. The Indiana Daily Student received two Pacemakers from the ACP in the Multiplatform and Newspaper competitions. For the first time in the organization’s history, Indiana University Student Television was a finalist for the broadcast Pacemaker.
The ACP also presented Best of Show awards at the conclusion of MediaFest25. The competition honored current student work in individual and staff recognition, listed below.

The Pinnacle Awards are CMA’s flagship national honors, recognizing the best student work in collegiate journalism, media production, and organizational excellence. A total of 3,358 entries and 1,165 finalists across eight categories were considered.
